Proposal review and decisions
Understand the proposed change before you decide.
See what would change, its expected impact and which evidence supports the proposal. Approve, reject or request changes with that context. Saving a decision records the review; execution requires a supported continuation.

Example evidence: the supplied title is generic and does not describe the page purpose. No search or crawl evidence loaded.
Expected impact: a clearer title for readers. Search benefit is an unmeasured estimate.

How the capability works
1. Start with the proposal and evidence
Review what needs attention, why it matters and which evidence supports the recommendation. Expected impact is an estimate to assess alongside risk and confidence, not a promised result.
- Identify the target and recommended action.
- Check available evidence and make gaps explicit.
- Weigh estimated benefit against risk and uncertainty.
2. Review the changes and record a decision
Use the change details supplied with the request to understand its scope. Approve when the proposal is ready, reject it when it should not proceed, or request changes when the recommendation needs revision.
- Compare supplied current and proposed values where available.
- Record a reason for the decision; request changes instead of assuming an inline editor.
- Review requirements depend on policy and the supported operation.
3. Continue through a supported execution path
The approval API saves the decision and its audit record. It does not execute every approved proposal. Supported CMS operations and durable workflows can continue through their own execution paths, subject to permissions, policy and provider capabilities.
- Confirm the operation has a supported continuation before expecting a write.
- Inspect execution and verification results from that workflow when available.
- Rollback or compensation depends on a reliable provider and workflow recovery path.
Practical tooling for end-to-end execution
Evidence and change context
Assess the supplied proposal and change details with expected impact, risk and confidence.
Recorded review outcomes
Approve, reject or request changes with an authorized decision and reason.
Supported execution paths
A saved decision can be used by supported CMS or durable workflow continuation; execution has its own outcome.
Traditional approach vs Groviqo
| Dimension / Capability | Review without context | A decision grounded in the proposal |
|---|---|---|
| Decision context | An action label without evidence or uncertainty. | Proposal, available evidence, expected impact, changes and risk together. |
| After approval | Approval and execution treated as one outcome. | Decision saved separately from supported continuation and execution results. |
Frequently asked implementation questions
Does approving a request publish the change?
The approval API records the decision. A supported CMS operation or durable workflow needs its separate continuation, with the required permissions and policy checks. Approval alone is not proof of publication.
What if the evidence or changes are not ready?
Request changes with a reason, or reject the proposal. Missing evidence and estimated impact should remain explicit while the proposal is revised.
